When the story stops at an oasis

And it is that as soon as you put a foot inside the Santa Lucia Hill, it transports to past times where it was not a place to walk but a strategic point to defend the city from external threats. For this reason remain remnants of the old Castillo Hidalgo that was this place. In the past a place to take refuge from the threats between the walls of Castillo Hidalgo, built on the top of the hill by order of the governor of Chile, Casimiro Marcó del Pont, in 1816. Today, those who visit it take refuge from the noise of the city in its pleasant walks and labyrinthine stone stairs that lead to majestic constructions such as the Fountain of Neptune.
