Santiago Civic Center Tour: Visiting downtown, the government buildings, La Moneda Palace, Armas Square, Santiago’s main cathedral. Then we will visit two museums, the Pre-Colombian Arts Museum and Casa Colorada Museum. Then, by car, we will visit the Santa Lucía´s and the San Cristobal Hill , we will finish the tour at the Mercado Central, a national monument central market.
The market is packed with seafood restaurants and typical foods restaurants and artisans who sell wicker and clay objects. Lunch there is optional.

La Moneda Palace
We will go to the government building, located in the center of the city and on the most important avenue, Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins. It stands out for its architecture and is surrounded by two large esplanades and squares.
Plaza de Armas & Santiago’s Main Cathedral
We will continue our journey towards the Plaza de Armas, where the Santiago Cathedral, the Municipality and other important buildings are located.
Museum of Pre-Columbian Art and National Museum of Fine Arts
Then we will continue to two museums, the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art that will show us the culture before the arrival of the Spanish and the Museum of Fine Arts that contains the main exhibitions of Chilean and foreign artists.
Santa Lucía Hill & San Cristóbal Hill
Then we will ascend to the hill Santa Lucia and hill San Cristobal where we can appreciate Santiago from above.
Central Market
Finally we will finish our tour in a visit to the Central Market, the main market of fish and seafood of the city. On the second floor we can eat typical food and try the delicious fish from the Chilean coast (optional – not included).
